I've always lost people,

Their protective shadows left me,

Vulnerable and unprotected,

My kind heart has been betrayed,

The canvas is painted dark,

Dark just like my life,

I tried everything,

Perfection, apologies, begging,

But nothing seems to work,

On the heart of stone,

So they always left me in spite,

My efforts to keep them,

This time I decided to let them go,

Take their toxicity with them,

I decided to be myself,

Demolishing all my adjustments,

I took their power,

And let them free,

To let me be with me...
